Una modelo estadounidense de 24 años de origen sudanés se ha convertido en una nueva estrella de Instagram gracias a su extremadamente oscuro tono de piel, informa el diario 'Daily Mail'.

Una vez un chofer de Uber le preguntó si estaba dispuesta a blanquear su piel por 10.000 dólares. Pero Nyakim se rio de la propuesta. "La naturaleza me ha bendecido con una enorme cantidad de melanina, y me encanta mi oscuridad", afirma la modelo, que se ha convertido en un nuevo símbolo para todas las personas de piel oscura. 

El camino de Nyakim hacia la pena aceptación de sí misma ha sido largo. Ahora le ayudan más de 154.000 seguidores en Instagram.
